Face Swap Group Pictures
This is just a silly spin-off of having a photographer come in for family/group portraits of your residents, where you find someone who knows how to use photoshop effectively to swap the heads or faces of the people in the picture.  We guarantee that this will get a laugh almost every time, and will be a great conversational piece for your residents to share with their friends! This could technically be done for any group picture, but we thought it made most sense for holiday group photos you coordinate at your community. (Also considering framing a copy and posting it in the community clubhouse!  What a great way to showcase your residents and your community to prospects in a fun way.)

A Night Among The Stars - Oscar Party
We delivered voting ballots for the Oscars & decorated the office with a red carpet, balloons, oscar statues and lots of stars. We showed the Oscars in our movie theater and had a menu that was named after the stars - Rodeo Drive Roll-Ups, Rising Star Cookies, Walk of Fame Punch & Chocolatey Hollywood Fountain, etc. We had the "paparazzi" there to take photos of the residents on the red carpet as they came in for the Oscar Party. The resident that choose the most correct winners won a pizza/movie party in our movie theater.

Mardi Gras Party
New Orleans knows how to throw the biggest party in the world - Mardi Gras! Being able to taste the Cajun cuisines, listen to Zydeco or Jazz music, and see the bright colors is an activity many would love to experience again and again. Re-creating this world famous event in your community is a great theme for a great party. Invitations should be brightly colored and should encourage guests to wear official Mardi Gras Colors - purple, green, and gold! As the host, you'll want to be decked out in all your Mardi Gras finery--chose to decorate yourself with beads and a fun feather mask! The colorful colors of Mardi Gras, purple, green and gold, will decorate your party room for a memorable and festive occasion. Decide when, where, and how you are going to serve the food. New Orleans is known for its food...

White Elephant community Party
I think this type of party would be fantastic for a community! They are really simple to set up and most people who have them place a reasonable price limit on the gifts. Here’s a couple of other ideas for your gift rules: Re-gift—Everyone must bring a gift they would like to get rid of. This is a great idea if you want to have your party AFTER the Holidays. Something from your home- Have everyone bring something they already own but just don’t want anymore. Price limits – ranging from $5-$20 Gag gifts only – this might be my favorite! I would suggest serving snacks, holiday cookies, and finger foods. Here is a great resource for all the rules on a White Elephant Party to help with planning. ...
