Together our team put on a Polar Express Pajama Party. As you approached the doors to our clubhouse we created railroad tracks using black electric tape and we put up lights all around our doorway to create a magicial look. When you walked inside you were greeted by our Groundskeeper dressed as a train attendant. He handed every person a ticket when they walked through the door. Our entryway had a large train made out of heavyweight paper and glue. Using 250 cotton balls we stuck tape on the back of them and put them all over to create a snowy effect. Lastly we added tons of snowflakes, trains, and other small paper decorations around the clubhouse. In celebration of National Kazoo Day this year, we held a silly picture contest at our community. We gave kazoos to all of our wonderful residents and asked them to take a unique picture of themselves, pets, neighbors, or kids playing the instrument. Pictures were submitted for a grand prize drawing of $100 off their next month’s rent.

This is a virtual scavenger hunt designed to drive traffic to our Facebook page and increase the number of fans who like our page. There are two ways to win free treasure: 1. Residents will find the plastic flamingo hidden around CDS and return to reception for prize 2. FB fans can answer trivia questions and engage in the scavenger hunt by doing activities like taking pictures/videos of themselves and post to the FB page. One week prior to the event, flyers are put around the property and a teaser event invitation is sent through the FB page. Teaser: The hunt starts on Monday, May 2nd!
