Do you want to try something new, fun, and extreme for your next community event? A foam pit is a great way to cool off this summer that is sure to attract a crowd!

You can never go wrong with inflatable attractions on your community. It can also be fun to experiment with different types of inflatable attractions.

This event calls for approximately 30 by 30 feet of free space to fit your giant 25 square foam pit party! Foam pits in your area may vary in size and price.

Most rental companies rent the inflatable pit separately from the machine. So if your community is short on funds, you can also rent only the foam-machine without the pit!

Depending on what’s available in your community, a foam pit + foam machine and foam powder should cost anywhere from $400 - 700 rental fees for 2-3 hours with the equipment and an attendant. A foam-making machine costs anywhere from $200-300 when rented on its own. It works best set up in a safe, somewhat enclosed corner of your community.

Some inflatable pits rentals come equipped with a built-in foam machine. Remember, the foam is not soap. The great news is that the organic bubbles are safe to get in your eyes (though we don’t recommend doing it on purpose!)

The pit will fill with foam, fun, and excitement for all ages!

Some other great features of the foam include:

• Completely non-toxic and safe if accidentally ingested.
• Leaves no film or residue on your surroundings.
• Organic, biodegradable, and safe for your community’s grass and plants. After the party is over, dissolve the foam in the water and carefully pump the water from the pit.
• Most rentals create enough foam for three hours of foam fun depending on the number of people smashing and splashing foam around in the pit!

***TIP*** If you want to run longer sessions or hold different sessions for different age groups and/or genders, you can also purchase additional foam mix for around $30 per pack.

A foam pit is safe for all people and occasions and is loads of fun for all!  Residents will get wet, but the foam is not as slippery as soap. Remember, however, that the vinyl floor of the pit gets slippery when wet!

You will need access to water to fill the barrel with water. The rental comes with enough foam mix for 2-3 hours of foam fun (depending on how many people are in the pit!) You can purchase extra foam mix for roughly $25-$30 per pack.

***TIP*** To encourage games between residents (kids, teens, and adults alike) consider adding additional inflatable pool toys! Add extras like beach balls, pool noodles, inflatable dolphins or sharks, doughnut rings, and more into the pool for residents to share!
