Bring Your Own Brushes

In addition to a fun and rejuvenating Spa Night, the ladies on your property will love having a hairdresser come on-site to explain and demonstrate various hairstyling techniques!

At this “Bring Your Own Brushes” event, residents can bring their own hair products, brushes, and styling tools and learn beginner to advanced hairstyling techniques.

Invite a local, licensed hairstylist to visit your community one evening or weekend. Demonstrate a number of daily wear and up-do styles and techniques.

Ladies in your community will have a ton of fun getting their hair made up and practicing their new skills.

Teaching Hairstyling Techniques

Speak to your hairstylist to create the curriculum for the event. Some styles, skills, and ideas you may want to touch on as a group include:

  • Blow dry techniques
  • Braids
  • Backcombing techniques
  • Up-dos
  • Half up, half down styles
  • French twists
  • Buns (high, low, side)
  • Product recommendations
  • Common mistakes

The goal is to watch, practice, and learn as many hairstyles as possible! But most importantly to have fun!

Have groups of ladies come in with their own hair products and tools and teach them how to use them while they are having light refreshments! You can also have one or more residents as volunteers who get to walk away beautiful!

A hairdresser who teaches techniques with hair tools is an awesome guest to host in your community. So bring your brushes, tools, and mirrors to have a blow-drying good time!
