We actually found this event on the Best Western Denver Southwest’s Fan Page, where the hotel has a dinosaur theme.  In a fit of brilliance, the hotel ran a Pet Cardboard Box Dinosaurification Challenge, where basically entrants would draw a dinosaur on a cardboard box, and stick their pet’s head through it for some fun.  Yes, it’s goofy, but it did a great job at interacting with their fans!  Plus, the pictures ended up getting shared not only on Facebook, but throughout all sorts of sites, each time creating opportunities for free publicity.  But even on just Facebook, these were the basic stats for the kitten T-Rex picture:

Would you like that type of reaction to your contests?  This same concept, or one similar, would be a great fit for a “pet friendly” apartment community!
