I really like this idea, I am having a Easter event for residents and I was looking for ideas and this one is great.

I attended this event and it was alot of fun/interesting.

I bet smaller kids would absolutely love this idea. Might be fun to do on a larger scale as well..since most of the time the boxes are free, get enough to fill the community center!

Oh I love this and I think it would work whether you have seniors in your community or 20 somethings!

How was your turnout for this? I don't know how many ice cream toppings people would have on hand but I think it would be fun to see what they grab out of the cupboard to bring in a rush!

I love this idea! Adding this together and making a family game night! Games for children along with the whole family. Pizza donated from a vendor. This could be very low in budget if you gather games from the employees. GREAT IDEA! I can't wait to create our game night! Thanks for the idea!

This sounds fantastic! How many people showed up/how many units do you have? Just trying to get an idea so we can do this. Would be fantastic! Love love love this idea!

I think this is a great idea, but my only concern is how it would be set up and what the chef will need. I mean, we have a kitchen, but it definitely isn't a large enough space for a group. Would he bring his own cooking equipment (i.e. portable stove)? How exactly would this work logistically?

This event is amazing for anyone renting in a college town. Most of those students are surviving on fast food and take out! (I know I was). It shows that you know who your residents are and what might be important to them. It also demonstrates that you want them to feel at home in your community. Wonderful event, thanks for sharing!

I love and yet am somewhat scared by this idea! Would be fun to see if any long time relationships came out of it.
