We would host a jungle inspired party! Using the party to inspire renewals. They can use the dart board below to win prizes once they have signed a renewal lease.
We would offer jungle themed food and beverages while playing jungle sounds over the stereo. We could see if “Jungle Jim”, a local showman that brings animals and creatures to parties for display and education, could attend our event. We could use foam or blow-up monkeys to hang invitations to renew and to the party on apartment doors. We can play other games like: pin the tail on the monkey and eye spy (use the binoculars to find hidden prizes throughout the community). We would also have a leasing center set-up for easy lease signing.

We feel that each resident event we host greatly impacts our renewal rate. We do all we can to pamper our residents so that they think of The Edge as home rather than just an apartment. A recent fan fave was our Pajama Party Spa Night. We hired 3 beauty consultants to wax eyebrows, give manicures and mini-facials. We laid out a chocolate bar with fruits and had a dance contest with our Wii Kinect. Residents showed up in their jammies to spend the evening gabbing, eating, laughing, dancing and being spoiled!! Just another reason students ask “Do you live at The Edge?”

Then coffee and dessert. During coffee the residents were able to purchase raffle tickets for 3 prizes. During the week I had hints posted on the board for the gifts. Which was fun, and the money we raised went to the residents fund. When all the tickets were bought, the residents now were waiting for the the show. They kept asking when it will start. I then said "you never know with Louweza and her schedule". In came Louweza, a 1890-1900 Madame, lady of the evening. She was very funny and told us what it was like to be part of the Revolutionary War performing her services. She flirted with the crowd and it was very funny. At the...

We typed a renewal for every resident in the building. We greeted them as they came home from work in their hallway. We had a table set up with our Kuerig Machine with coffee, hot cocoa and hot cider. We also had snacks and music.
